What is the best advice you’ve ever gotten?

I’ll tell you something that sticks with me is "don’t apologize so much."

What’s your favorite part of being a woman?

I think that I get to reinvent myself everyday depending on the situation or who I’m with.

What is your favorite thing about the Lilly Lashes Team?

I think we have a lot of fun, I also think it’s fun to work for a company that gets to have a little part in the confidence of women. When you put on a lash, you just have that moment like, "WOW is that me?" Getting to share that with the world just makes coming to work every day really fun!

What’s your favorite Lilly Lash?

I LOVE our Butterfl’eyes half lashes. I think Sassy is my favorite!

What is the best advice you’ve ever gotten?

Don’t let anyone out work you.

How did you get started in the beauty industry?

When I graduated college, my parents cut me off and said, “you’re on your own!” The first job that I pretty much applied for and interviewed for was the job of being an executive assistant for the marketing director at haircare company. She was really tough, but I stuck with it and I’m still here.

What is your favorite thing about the Lilly Lashes Team?

We are a group of mostly women who are very very smart and who have done great things. We are small but mighty and we have a lot of fun!

What’s your favorite Lilly Lash?

My favorite Lilly lash is actually a lash that hasn’t launched yet called “Undressed” and I’m wearing it today. It’s part of our Everyday Brown Blended Collection and it's got a 60/40 mixture black and brown hairs. They are so beautiful! I cannot wait for these to launch in April!

What is the best advice you’ve ever gotten?

Don’t be scared to look dumb or silly when trying something new. Sometimes we can get in our heads and keep ourselves from doing something we’re interested in because of how we look, but it's super important to get past that because that’s how we grow!

What’s your favorite part of being a woman?

Oh my gosh there’s so many! I love being a woman, but right now my favorite part is knowing that I'm able to grow a human being inside my body. I can’t believe it! It’s such a miracle that I didn’t even know existed until I actually experienced pregnancy myself. That's definitely my favorite part right now!

What is your favorite thing about the Lilly Lashes Team?

Definitely the company culture! I actually enjoy coming into the office and collaborating with everyone and I feel like I can learn from every person on this team.

What’s your favorite Lilly Lash?

My favorite Lilly Lash is one we haven’t launched yet so I don’t know how many details I can give. My second favorite is Reveal and it’s a part of our Everyday Collection.

What’s your favorite part of being a woman?

That’s a two-part question, the first one is that I get to change up my look everyday especially with all the beauty products we have access to. The second part is I still like chivalry. I still like my door held open for me and just being treated like a lady.

How did you get started in the beauty industry?

My first job out of college was working for a global professional beauty company and I was an assistant, and I did just about anything and everything, I tried to learn as much as possible and be involved in just about every project. I continued to work and I just fell in love with the beauty industry and now here I am making lashes!

What is your favorite thing about the Lilly Lashes Team?

I love our diversity! We bring so many different age ranges, ethnicities, backgrounds, and styles to the team. I think that it's so important, especially in beauty, that we have everything represented.

What’s your favorite Lilly Lash?

Well of course the ones I have on right now, but they’re not out yet!

How did you get started in the beauty industry?

I started off in the office supply industry and then I went to fast fashion. My mentor is the one that gave me my big break in the beauty industry around eight years ago. I’ve actually been in the lash category for eight years now!

What is your favorite thing about the Lilly Lashes Team?

The free lashes! But in all seriousness, I love that it’s a small but mighty team. When people think of Lilly Lashes, you think of 100+ people in the company but really it’s only around 15 of us and we all wear a lot of hats which I love! It’s super-fast paced, we really care about our work, and we’re really involved, and not to mention it’s a dog friendly company!

What’s your favorite Lilly Lash?  

I’m wearing it right now, it’s Miami Flare. I love that it’s a flared lash and it goes with my cat eye wing, so it gives me a lifted look!

What is the best advice you’ve ever gotten?

This is the best I’ve gotten on the job but it also works for real life. We’re going to run into a lot of instances that are uncomfortable or it’s not the way you thought it would go, and you can’t control that except for how you react to it. So carry yourself with grace and work through it.

What’s your favorite part of being a woman?

Boobs

What is your favorite thing about the Lilly Lashes Team?

Majority of us are strong independent women that have such strong skill sets but we work so well together!

What’s your favorite Lilly Lash?

Butterfl’eyes Collection hands down!! But Dreamy is my absolute fav!
